BEHOLD

THE WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

BEHOLD . . .

"I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come. He will guide you in all the truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you." - John 16:5-15

REFLECTION

What is behold means?

It means to gaze upon, to observe, regard and see. What it means Jesus death at the cross and his resurrection? Jesus came and did what he came to do. His presence in our lives is all that is good because all good comes from God. If he did not die, he could not remove our sins; he could not rise again and defeat death. If he did not go back to the Father, the Holy Spirit would not come. We would not receive an abundant life, the everlasting life that He promise us.

I do believe of what God says and what he deals with us personally is all because he loved us so much beyond words. He behold all His promises, His truth, His ways, and His unconditional love.

Through Jesus Christ, he changed my way of thinking, and my life. And he still continue to change my life while he continue telling a story throughout my life. He renews the minds, transform the heart, and gives us hope.

Through the work of the Holy Spirit, He made it a living ground, a dwelling place, and a sacred place. He breathe, he dwells so that we can be transform to where he wanted you and I to be.

He wants us to really watch the choice of words we speak and how we say it. How we act. Whenever we speak of blessings, it blessed others as well. When we pray for others God comes and restore hope.

Everything we do or what we say against each other, we practically curse upon ourselves and others, especially God. How many times God has to reveal his might and power so that we see and regard his authority. Look upon, regard and behold the mystery of between times. --- In such as time as this one.

Once again, God is reminding us what is the given task of the Holy Spirit?

The three important tasks of the Holy Spirit are;

1. REPENT - Recognize our sins and calling for repentance.

2. RIGHTEOUSNESS - Revealing the standard of God's righteousness to anyone who believes.

3. JUDGEMENT - Demonstrating Christ's judgement.

Christ's death on the cross made it possible for us to have a personal relationship with the Father and made it available to anyone to those who believe, repent and accept him as their Lord and Savior.

How or where can we start?

Let us all begin with prayer . . .

Eternal God, we give you thanks for this holy mystery in which you have given yourself to us.

Grant that we may go into the world in the strength of your Spirit, to give ourselves for others, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

At the end of Jesus life on earth. He spent his entire time in praying. Prayer reveals his commitment, love and concerns to each of us. Although Jesus already loved us from the beginning.

Prayer is where sustain us and keep our hearts align with God. It reminds us to love one another and pray for those who hurt us and who condemn us.

Prayer humble us. It keep us dependent to God.

Prayers bring comfort, healing and peace within. God works in the mysterious way neither we see the answer of our prayer or not. Neither visible or invisible to the eyes, God listen and hear us. He sees everything that is hidden within.

Let us not forget God is in all things.

Grace and peace be with you . . .
