STILLNESS

Psalm 25:5

Guide me in your truth and teach me,
    for you are God my Savior,
    and my hope is in you all day long.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus Christ,

In the stillness

Sometimes where I find You,

In the stillness of silence

I know You are present,

I know You are here.

​

In the stillness of Your silence,

You call on me,

You call me to wait for You,

You call me to wait for Your guidance,

You call me to learn to trust You,

​You call me to wait for Your timing,

so I'll sit still.

​

In the stillness,

You teaching me,

To learn to wait patiently

and appreciate the peace of Your presence,

knowing that You hold

yesterday, today and tomorrow in Your hands,

day by day,

night by night.

The truth,

O Lord'

I don't need an answer,

I simply need You,

To sit still beside You.

Thank you again for reminding me

that I can come and sit, while I rest

I wait.
