THE SERVANT

BEAUTIFUL JESUS

Isaiah 42: 1-25

“I, the Lord, have called You in righteousness, And will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles, To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the prison, Those who sit in darkness from the prison house. I am the Lord, that is My name; And My glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images. Behold, the former things have come to pass, And new things I declare; Before they spring forth I tell you of them.”

REFLECTION

What it means to be a servant?

One part of Christ's mission on earth was to demonstrate God's righteousness and to be the light to all nations. A true servant reveals a character of gentleness, encouragement, justice and truth. Our role was to help bring the world to a knowledge of God. Jesus fulfill this task and show God himself to the world. Just look at all the Lord Jesus will do for us and through us. When we feel broken, or hurt and burned out in our spiritual life. God won't step on you or forsake you. He rather gently pick you up and sent his loving spirits to embrace you. God's goodness and his love will always reflect on those around us who truly love God. Through Jesus Christ we are all given an opportunity to share and participate in his mission. God call us to be his servant of his Son.

How we can be part of his mission?

By demonstrating God's righteousness and bringing his light into the world. We are here to fulfill God's mission. But in order to do so, we mus seek his righteousness before we demonstrate it to others. It must begin within us. The love of God must be the dwelling place in our hearts. Let his light shine in us before we can be the light ourselves. What matter the most is what evaluation that you want from our Lord. --- His opinion matter the most

How it is for every true servant of Christ?

The most marvelous experiences Christians will share on a given day, is when we able to recognize the blessing of God and appreciate the goodness that God does for you and through you, in all of us. If we claimed to be, then perhaps the reflection of how we feel is to praise him, glorify him, that completely unknown to the world. Then perhaps the world might see the light and the goodness of the Lord.

He will blessed us, and we receive reward after reward after reward from the Lord's hands.

—The Unseen.

For those hearts will have been pure, and the works or deeds have done for the glory of God, will have a precious blessing, and the rewards will be great. Because God will reward according to the motives of human's hearts, our single purpose in life should be that, whether [we] eat or drink or whatever [we] do, [we] do it all to the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:31).

That everything else we do or say that our motive should govern by a true faithful servant.

-Heart of a Servant-

It is good when fellow Christians can speak well of us sincerely. It is good when our own conscience does not accuse us. And it is even better and wonderful on that day, when our Lord can say to us, "Well done, good and faithful servant." What a beautiful sounds to hear such praise from the Lord, where should be the aim of every true servant of Christ.

Remember, God has a planned. Where He will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of every human hearts. It means only God can see, the things hidden from the knowledge of other men. Only God can render a righteous verdict. All Christians will have some reward and some praise—only God knows who will receive much and who will receive little. We do know, however, that the rewards will not be based on the size of our church, the apparent accomplishments of our lives, or the number of converts we claim. God will sort out—based on hidden things, based on motives—who receives much and who receives little. God will account us in all what we do or say in all. How could be so close to God and see so little? I do believe seeing but not understanding, or knowing what is right, but not doing it. Can be the worse than seeing at all. God messages is to change and transform our lives. How we can offer God's direction to others when ourselves was not align in Christ righteousness and his will. Do we really appreciate the goodness of God, that God does for each one of us and through us? How many times God has to tell us repeatedly, time after time. God will reveal in such a time as this one. -The Mystery of Time

But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by a human court. In fact,

I do not even judge myself. For I know of nothing against myself, yet I am not justified by this; but He who judges me is the Lord. -1 Corinthians 4:3-4
